Red Fountain Pen Petit1 – Pilot

The pen

While there is nothing fancy about this fountain pen, it will surprise you with its consistency, quality and comfort. It’s ideal for when you are out and about and want a practical fountain pen as your steady companion. Pilot Petit1 is a sturdy and inexpensive, yet high-quality pocket-size fountain pen with a red tinted plastic barrel. The barrel is transparent, so you can see the ink flow through the pen. To make the pen feel more like a regular fountain pen, take off the cap and post it at the end while you write.

The nib

It has a steel nib in size fine (F) (however, this is more of an American F rather than a Japanese F).

What it comes with

It comes ready-to-use with one spare ink cartridge.

The ink it uses

The Petit1 fountain pen uses proprietatary Pilot Petit1 ink cartridges which differ from regular Pilot ink cartridges.
