About SnaptureThis:
SnaptureThis was founded by Monica, who has had a passion for crafting since she was a young girl. From painting to photography to creating gallery walls in her dorm rooms she has always had an eye and passion for creating art. Monica discovered Etsy as a platform in 2013 when she was looking for a customized gift for a friend. She was in awe of how the platform allowed her to communicate directly with artists and creators across the globe to buy one of a kind, unique and beautiful items. It was so special, and it had her thinking.
A year later in 2014, Monica moved from Hamilton, ON, to the big city of Toronto. She was working a full-time job but had an itch to do more. She decided to take a leap of faith and opened SnaptureThis. It started off with prints featuring Monica’s photography and digitally created designs. Over time she continued to develop designs and began expanding her product range. In 2020, now working from home, Monica had more time to create and think.
She began working with local illustrators on commission to develop some of her most popular items to date beginning with the Toronto Coffee Shop V1 Print. This print featured local cafes in the city and became a best seller. Since then Monica has worked on 6+ projects featuring other small businesses in the province of Ontario, has launched tote bags and apparel and will continue to grow this dream! In 2022 she took the biggest leap of faith and opened up a storefront Downtown Toronto. She quit her full-time job and has decided to dedicate all her time into SnaptureThis. The storefront includes all SnaptureThis’ products, dried florals, and features incredible local makers and female-owned businesses.
