‘From Samo, to Samo’

PAST EVENT: Oct 29 - Dec. 17, 2022: A group exhibition showcasing the evolution of street art. Featuring artworks by New York-based visual artist Al Diaz, plus new works by Toronto artists Javid Jah, Danilo Deluxo, AlfAlfA, and Kizmet. Happening at Cultural Goods Gallery, a new exhibition space in the Junction.

PAST EVENT: One day only - Sun, Oct. 2, 2022: Play with wood type and linocut shapes/patterns to design and print your own edition of 10 posters. You'll also learn about the history of poster printing, how to operate a printing press and how to set type!

PAST EVENT: Wednesdays from 6-9 pm (Sep. 14, 21 & 28, 2022): Learn or improve your carving and design skills for the versatile medium of relief printing in this 3-week class. Covering single and multi-layer prints, you'll create 2 editions from start to finish.

Past event: Two artworks by Scott Soares. This work depicts a white ice-covered mound at the left and a dark mound on the right as banks of a river which is rendered in a deep blue. The scene resembles a fjord. The second artwork features a deep blue river and a hill in shades of yellow, red and brown on the shore to the right.
