Les Arts Florissants with Théotime Langlois de Swarte, violin
For one night only on Saturday, March 29, 2025, the Royal Conservatory of Music presents Vivaldi’s “Four Seasons” at 300 as part of their Chamber Music Concert series, featuring Baroque ensemble Les Arts Florissants, led by violinist Théotime Langlois de Swarte.
“Théotime Langlois de Swarte reminds me why I fell in love with the Baroque violin in the first place.”
– Gramophone
Fresh takes on quintessential masterpieces
Fast-rising violinist Théotime Langlois de Swarte and Baroque superstars Les Arts Florissants commemorate the original publication of Vivaldi’s work “Four Seasons” 300 years ago, in 1725 — framing these classic and beloved pieces in a new way, setting them alongside music Vivaldi would have known in Venice, plus compositions that were inspired by his bold vision.
