Rubber Stamp Carving Class & Kits

Carve your own floral stamp in time for spring

Paper Plus Cloth is hosting an in-person rubber stamp carving workshop, in partnership with Monika Giacca from Salt & Paper. Monika is a talented Toronto-based illustrator specializing in rubber stamp carving and, as part of her stationery brand Salt & Paper, she also creates colourful and witty greeting cards, stickers and notepads.

Rubber stamp carving is a fun and unique way to express your creativity and add a personal touch to your crafts, cards and other artistic projects. No prior experience is necessary, making this workshop perfect for beginners, as well as those with some experience. All materials will be provided, including rubber blocks, carving tools, etc. Throughout the workshop, you’ll learn how to use the various materials and tools to create different effects and textures. You’ll also learn how to transfer your designs onto the rubber block, and carve out your image with precision and accuracy.

Only 10 spots available!

By the end of the class, you’ll have created your very own custom rubber stamp with a beautiful floral design just in time for spring; and you’ll leave with the skills and knowledge to continue carving stamps at home.

Continue making rubber stamps at home

If you want to continue making your own rubber stamps at home after the workshop, Monica’s stamp kits will be available for purchase at the class. They contain everything you need to create your own rubber stamps and apply the skills you learned in the workshop to even more designs.

If you’re unable to make it to the class or live too far away, you can also get her rubber stamp carving kit online here.
