One-day beginner workshop at Flycatcher Press
Get introduced to type setting, letterpress and linocut, and the history of poster making!
Make your own poster (political, protest, inspirational, poetic – anything goes!) using carved linoleum blocks or beautiful wood type from Flycatcher Press’ own collection. In this one-day workshop, you’ll design and print your own 2-colour 8.5″x 11″ poster using letterpress and linocut techniques. You’ll learn how to design with, and set type, carve and print a linoleum block, and print an edition of (at least) 10 copies on the sign press and cylinder press. Materials and tax included.
