Theatre Myth Collective presents the world premiere of a new Canadian musical, Inge(new) – In Search of a Musical.
Does art imitate life or does life imitate art? On the eve of her 40th birthday, Bridget finds herself at an audition with no available role for her. In come three other auditionees, and together they must navigate their way through this metatheatrical world – where past and present collide in absurd and mysterious ways.
Book by Evan Tsitsias and lyrics by Alexis Diamond; directed by Evan Tsitsias with assistant director Zita Nyarady; music by Rosalind Mills, with additional music and lyrics by Julia Appleton; and choreography by Jen Cohen.
