Brutalist Toronto: The Walking Tour

If you’ve ever wondered about brutalist architecture and are curious to find out more, here is your chance!

Learn about brutalist architecture in this free walking tour organized by The Power Plant Contemporary Art Gallery.

On Wednesday, August 30, join Brutalist Toronto: The Walking Tour, a fun and engaging tour led by award-winning architect Alex Josephson. The event will start with a tour of Jen Aitken’s exhibition The Same Thing Looks Different, and after, takes off for a walk from The Power Plant building to St Andrew Station. Josephson will draw connections between the brutalist architecture of Toronto’s landscape and the geometric forms of Aitken’s concrete statues.
