Anthony’s Journey: Songs That Tell A Story

A one-night only accessible concert presentation of a new musical inspired by real-life events

On Saturday, November 4, Anthony’s Journey Collective presents an accessible concert presentation of Anthony’s Journey: Songs That Tell A Story, an epic, empowering new musical by Andreas Prinz and Timothy Anderson, in the Theatre Passe Muraille Mainspace.

Anthony’s Journey follows a young man who’s having a difficult time, struggling with grief after losing someone he loves. Inspired by real-life events, the musical explores how we are not alone in our grief, and that we can learn from it by taking care of ourselves and each other.

Co-directed by Andreas Prinz and Natalie Breton, with musical direction by Timothy Anderson, the cast features Andreas Prinz, Nicholas Herd and Robert Gray. The concert also features a fifty-person choir made up of the Every Voice Matters Chorus and Adult Community Choir of VIVA Singers Toronto, and a live band performing songs from the musical alongside original dance, narration and artwork.

Anthony’s Journey Collective acknowledges the support of the Ontario Arts Council, Toronto Arts Council, L’Arche Toronto, L’Arche Toronto Sol Express, Theatre Passe Muraille and VIVA Singers.
