SnaptureThis

Toronto gift and floral shop SnaptureThis features a selection of locally-crafted gifts and paper goods. They are especially known for their series of illustrated art prints of Toronto cafés, landmarks, sweet treats and eateries.

Translating her childhood passion for crafting into an online shop, owner Monica took a leap of faith after moving to Toronto and started SnaptureThis — initially offering her photography and designs online. During the pandemic, she expanded her product offerings, working with local illustrators to create SnaptureThis’ popular café-inspired art prints for cities like Toronto, Hamilton and Vancouver. And, in 2022, another huge leap of faith resulted in the opening of a storefront in downtown Toronto, stocking the work of local makers and offering an incredible selection of paper goods, florals, gifts and apparel.

What we like about this shop

We deeply respect and admire how Monica manifested her dream, quit her “day job” and opened a shop that combines paper with florals, merging an aesthetic of “cute” with urban vibes. Big fans of coffee ourselves, we enjoy SnaptureThis’ coffee-inspired art prints because they feature some of Elena’s favourite cafés in the city. Cate especially loves their Toronto Brunch Print because it reminds her of the city’s great locations to pause, relax and have some refreshments with friends – plus it gives her ideas of new locations to visit!

The variety of unique, locally-made gift items makes you want to linger and browse the goods that SnaptureThis has to offer – from dreamy dried floral arrangements, to cozy socks, to cheeky t-shirts and greeting cards, and of course, actual coffee cups. (Written by C.M.)
