Magic in Your Watercolors Workshop

From Thursday, January 16 to Saturday, January 18, 2025, Art Centre Sarasota hosts visiting artist instructor Ron Stocke for a three-day watercolor workshop.

Internationally known artist, author and instructor Ron Stocke will focus on the elements that make a good watercolor painting. Students will be encouraged to loosen up and paint with strong values – light and dark variations of colors – while exploring limited color harmonies that add mood and excitement to their painting.

This class is for adults of all skill levels, and students are encouraged to bring their own reference photos. Students will need to bring their own supplies (paint, brushes, paper, etc.) and should expect to create one to two paintings a day. See the full supply list here.

About artist instructor Ron Stocke

Award-winning watercolor artist Ron Stocke is a regular contributor to, and has been a cover artist for, Watercolor Artist Magazine and other publications. He teaches throughout North America and Europe; holds Signature Membership with the American, National and Northwest Watercolor Societies; and is a member of the American Impressionist Society. He has been an Artist Ambassador for M. Graham Watercolors for over 15 years.
