Toronto’s First Post Office: Pop-up Paper Fair

For three Saturdays this summer – June 15, July 20 and August 17, 2024 – join Toronto’s First Post Office and the Town of York Historical Society for their summer pop-up paper fair. Come out and browse a fantastic selection of quirky and fun cards, notebooks, stickers, pins, patches, prints, totes and more! Admission is free and this event is for all ages.

Whether you’re searching for the perfect gift, need to stock up on something or treat yourself, or looking for something fun to do this summer, the Pop-up Paper Fair will have it all. Come by the Post Office and shop local – and chat with the vendors. You don’t want to miss this exciting opportunity to discover stationery from local vendors just in time for Back-to-School.

Built in 1833, Toronto’s First Post Office is a museum and full-service Canada Post outlet operated by The Town of York Historical Society. As a museum, Toronto’s First Post Office serves as a hub for sharing the history of the Town of York and the City of Toronto. The Post Office also hosts Letter Writing Socials organized by the Toronto Letter Writers Society.

Accessibility: There is a stair-free entrance at the rear of the building. Enter the courtyard behind the Post Office building from the laneway just east of 262 Adelaide Street East, or just south of the Post House Condo on George Street. Look for the ramp and a sign that says “Toronto’s First Post Office.”
