Swinging music, dancing girls, a perfect summer eve on the beach. What could possibly go wrong?! Throw a monster into the mix and you’ll find out! Join Killer B Cinema on Friday, August 4 for a screening of The Beach Girls and the Monster.

About The Beach Girls and the Monster

Released in 1965, The Beach Girls and the Monster (aka Monster from the Surf) is a horror and beach party film directed by Jon Hall, starring Jon Hall and Sue Casey, and featuring the dancing girls from Hollywood’s Whisky A-Go-Go nightclub and music by Frank Sinatra Jr.

When a young woman is killed at a beach in Malibu, Dr. Otto Lindsay suspects some kind of mutated fish. His son Rich, a friend of the young woman, thinks it’s foul play of the human variety – someone with a grudge, out for revenge. As they attempt to untangle the mystery, the body count grows when the killer goes after Rich’s surfing pals, stepmother and friend Mark.

The movie will be shown at See-Scape, a sci-fi, cyber punk-themed bar and café featuring an amazing menu, with bar service on two floors. Killer B movie screenings are on the second floor. The second-floor bar is open during the event and is cash only. Debit/credit purchases are available at the main floor bar.
