This greeting card features six random objects chosen by D. Briker, the artist who painted the artworks in the Objects of Little Importance series. He chose these objects from the home or studio space of fellow artists and creative people in the Vancouver area such as Courtenay Webber. From the description by Courtenay Webber, these objects of little importance are:
- Bendable Gumby figurine from my childhood (not shown: Pokey)
- Plastic-handled scissors
- Tape measure (origin unknown… maybe stolen from my dad?)
- 1970s Martha Sturdy necklace of resin geometric shapes on a leather cord (purchased from original owner)
- Flattened metal candy tin lid in the shape of a Pac-Man ghost, found on the road outside my Gastown office
- Pink suede pump
